"Highly recommended! My son had awful allergy attacks monthly and I had a sinus infection every other month! We had Blackford sanitize our ducts and it has changed our life! No more infections, coughing, headaches, and endless cycles of antibiotics to take the symptoms! Absolutely amazing and simply life changing."

FAQ's

  • What’s the difference between your air duct cleaning service and the others out there?

Most companies rely on brushes and harsh tools, which can damage your ducts and stir up dust, mold, and bacteria, spreading them throughout your home. Our process is different. We use an antimicrobial fogging method with a non-toxic thyme oil solution that kills mold, bacteria, and viruses without releasing harmful particles or causing duct damage. This means safer, more effective cleaning for your home, with no risk to your family, pets, or the integrity of your ductwork. Read more about the difference >>

  • What is the cost of air duct cleaning service?

    $450 per HVAC system.

You can get our Bundle Deal, which includes air duct cleaning service and dryer vent cleaning for $560.

  • How long does a duct cleaning take?

Most air duct cleanings take about 45 minutes and because our fogging process is non-toxic, there is no need to leave your home or move your pets.

  • How much does it cost for a re-cleaning?

$150 if done within 12 to 14 months of the original service.

  • How often should I have my air ducts cleaned?

We recommend to have a regularly scheduled cleaning done between 12 and 14 months. We offer a reduced price of $150 for follow-up cleanings.

  • How do I know it's time to clean my ducts?

Honestly, just look and smell! Pop off a vent cover and peek inside with your phone flashlight – if you see a bunch of dust bunnies or debris, that’s your answer right there.

Also pay attention to these red flags: dust blowing out when your system kicks on, musty smells from vents, your house getting dusty way too fast even after you clean, or your allergies acting up more at home.

If you’ve never had them cleaned and you’ve been in your house a few years, or if you just did renovations and didn’t cover the vents properly, you probably need it done.

  • How often should I clean my dryer vent?

Once a year is the standard rule, but it really depends on how much you use your dryer. Big family doing laundry constantly? Maybe twice a year. Live alone and barely use it? You might stretch it to 18 months.

If you have pets or use fabric softener sheets a lot, lean toward more frequent cleaning. Just pay attention to how your dryer performs – that’ll tell you more than any schedule.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    Cash, Zelle, Visa, and MasterCard
